Annie Sybil Montague (August 30, 1854 - March 5, 1914) was born in 1854 in Boston, the daughter of Samuel Leland Montague, a Massachusetts politician who served on the Common Council, the Board of Aldermen and as the Mayor of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Mary Elizabeth Bucksted Montague.

Graduated from Wellesley College as part of its first class (Class of 1879). She later received her M.A. from the college in 1882.

She began serving as an instructor in Greek at Wellesley College in 1882. She was promoted to Associate Professor of Greek in 1893.

She was active on the Wellesley College faculty continuously through the 1900–1910 decade.

She died on March 6, 1914, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

During the period spanning 1900 to 1910, Annie Sybil Montague served as Associate Professor of Greek at Wellesley College. She is documented within historical overviews and directories focusing on the queer history and biographical profiles of early faculty members from the historic Seven Sisters women's colleges.
